Hello everyone!
For the modern technology term I picked is "Digital Divide". There isn't many journalism articles about digital divide until 1929 in Chicago tribune. Compare to the New York Times, The earliest record can be found is around 1890 but the most related records can be found is around 1950. There is a huge boom around 2000 to 2009. For scholarly articles databases, the earliest record to be found is around1950 too. The digital divide was first refer to the division between information enriched population and information poor population. This term was popularly mentioned in 21st century. I don't think the meanings of digital divide has changed since there still are divisions between these two populations. But the levels of information enrichment might be different (increased) compare to when the term first been brought up.
