Chase Bauernfeind: Wireless

I researched the word wireless and the earliest use in each historical news paper and article database was in 1899. In 1899 an Italian man named Macroni invented the first wireless "telegraphy" system. It was a big deal at the time because it was the first time messages could be sent to each other without cords. This is very similar to the way the word is used today. When we think of wireless technology we think of anything that doesn't involve cords. Obviously today we have much more than just wireless messaging systems and the use for wireless technology is much more advanced.
