What really intrigued me about this article was the inspiring aspect. The article touches on specific people that were at the forefront of the internet and hypertext introduction and quotes them. The quotes explain that these people were inspired by Vannevar Bush's memex. Bush's idea of the memex is the same idea as the internet. The idea to compress all of this information, but at the same time have the ability to access the information easily. The creditors in the article make it very clear that Vannevar was a big part of their success and inspiration.

Interesting article! I agree with you that the article was inspiring and it was definitely clear that Vannevar was a huge inspiration. At the end of the article it mentions how people today should revisit his vision and be "inspired to create new and innovative ways to gather and share information as other have been in the past."
I also thought it was interesting that Wiki's were mentioned. This quote from your article relates well to this class : "Wiki, the software that allows one person to aggregate and publish information and then allows others to modify and add and change the original information is also akin to his vision as well"
